Integration is a key component in Easit’s software. In many cases, parts of the information in Easit is already stored in other systems. Still, you might want to import and export data to update accounting systems and other mission critical systems. Easit has several import tools to read information from other systems, mostly based on data in XML or text format.
The LDAP synch imports and updates organizations and contacts into Easit Manager Suite. The module supports directories based on LDAP, such as Microsoft Active Directory and Novell NDS. The updates can be scheduled to run in specified intervals. The import adds and updates existing information.
Customer and Order import/export
Customer and Order import/export provides an integration between Easit Manager Suite and business systems. Import and update is made from the customer registry of the business system into Easit Manager Suite. The module also enables exporting bases for orders and invoicing to a business system. The file format is XML.
E-mail Request converts incoming emails to a case. Attached files in the email are included as files attached to the case. If the sender is registered in Easit Manager Suite, the ticket is connected to that person; otherwise the sender information is stored as text. An email account (POP3 or IMAP4) must be configured for the incoming e-mail.
XML Request provides a standardized method to receive cases from any system able to send XML documents. The function is well suited to receive machine generated alarms, but it can also be used with other systems that are able to send. XML documents. This allows for much richer information compared to email based request. An XML document can contain request type, priority, designated support group etc. The request can therefore be categorized, prioritized and dispatched to the right group upon arrival.
This module reads data from Microsoft SQL Server. The import requires a view to be present in the SQL Server. The import can be scheduled to run automatically at specified intervals.
