Interview with Stefan Gunnerhell: Project Manager, Head of Security and Home Guard Instructor

Hi Stefan! How are you doing?

Hello! That's really great, thanks. 

Can you tell us a bit about your role as project manager for Easit GO?

As a project manager for Easit GO, my job is to keep everything together from planning to delivery. I make sure that projects move forward on time, on budget and on target - and that we have clear communication with the customer throughout the process.

It's a very varied job where I get to combine structure and problem solving with building strong relationships.

On top of that, you are also the Security Manager. What does that role entail?

As Security Manager, my responsibility is to ensure that we comply with the laws and regulations that apply to security protection, especially when working with customers who have sensitive information or special requirements.

This ranges from protecting information to training our staff on security issues. This is important work, as we need to ensure that we have both processes and procedures in place to protect our customers and their data.

How do you balance these two roles in your work?

It requires a lot of planning and structure. Project management and security protection are different fields, but there is a common denominator in that both are about creating security - for the customer in the projects and for the organization in terms of security. I try to prioritize and work proactively so that I can be present in both roles.

I also know that you are an instructor in the Home Guard. Can you tell me a bit about that?

Yes, that's right! Alongside my work at Easit , I am active in the Home Guard and work as a trainer. This involves training and leading groups in various situations, both theoretically and practically. It's a role that requires a lot of leadership and communication - something that I also benefit greatly from in my work at Easit.

What have you learned from the Home Guard that you bring to your job?

The Home Guard has taught me the importance of always being prepared and being able to adapt to rapidly changing situations. It has also strengthened my ability to make decisions under pressure and to lead teams effectively, which is invaluable in project management and security work.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Easit?

Perhaps the best thing is the combination of challenging tasks and the great work culture. We have a great team, and there is a strong sense of collaboration and innovation. It's also great to work with our platform and learn about the different process flows and innovations our customers are working on across a wide range of industries.
