A solution that some of our customers have recently implemented in Easit GO is a concrete example of this. A fully automated integration between the ordering portal in GO and a supplier's product catalog. This solution has created a smooth and predictable process for ordering IT equipment and telephony, from catalog to delivery.
From manual to automated
In the past, managing orders was a resource-intensive manual process. The buyer had to look up products, submit applications and wait for manual approvals and forwarding of information to suppliers. With the new solution, the entire process is automated:
Automatic import of product range -. The supplier's product catalog is imported directly into GO's trade item register. This makes the orderable range available to end users via the GO self-service portal. The range and prices are continuously and automatically updated, ensuring that the information is always up-to-date.
Automated order management -. When an order is placed in the portal, an order is created in GO which is automatically forwarded to the supplier's order system after approval from the authorized person has been obtained.
Feedback from the supplier -. As soon as the supplier confirms the order, information is sent back to GO. The buyer gets direct access to details like delivery dates, creating transparency and improving planning.
The role of IT in delivery
While some types of equipment can be delivered directly to the client, there are cases where IT department preparation is necessary before final delivery. Thanks to the integration, this too becomes a more structured and efficient process. When the delivery from the supplier starts, the IT department is automatically informed, allowing them to start any preparatory work or procedures in good time.
Completion and follow-up
When the delivery is completed by the client, this is marked in GO, whereupon the orders are updated, the equipment is inventoried, linked to the correct cost center and automatically closed. This final update ensures correct documentation and gives both the IT department and the customer a clear overview of the delivery.
