With over 45 years as a sailorfour round-the-world races and participation in the America's CupGurra is one of Sweden's most accomplished in his genre and has built a solid experience in leadership and group dynamics that makes his stories relevant far beyond the sailing world.

Gurra combines a light-hearted, entertaining approach with great weight in content. In his lectures, he addresses topics such as motivation, camaraderie, goal setting, preparation, leadership and group dynamics. He also emphasizes the importance of having clearly defined and clear objectivesand how to get a whole group pulling in the same direction despite different skills and personalities.

In his career, Gurra has sailed in extremely demanding environments where teams live under high stress, limited resources and high exposure. These experiences give him unique insights into how leadership and people management can be shaped when conditions are tough.
