Easit GO expands into the UK & Ireland with AMT-Sybex as its first customer

AMT-Sybex goes live with Easit GO – first UK and Ireland customer

When a UK & Irish software company with over 30 years of industry experience needed a modern, flexible service management platform, they chose a solution from within the family. Here’s the story of how Easit GO landed its first customer in the UK and Ireland.

For over three decades, AMT-Sybex has been a cornerstone of the UK’s critical infrastructure.

The company provides enterprise asset management (EAM) and mobile solutions to some of the most important utilities and transport organisations – from major water utilities like Scottish Water and Southern Water to energy giants like National Grid and Scottish Power Energy Networks.

Their asset management software supports UK water utilities delivering more than 4.3 billion litres of water every day, energy companies managing more than 418,000km of underground cables, and the completion of more than 100,000 work orders annually through their software. In short, AMT-Sybex helps keep the lights on and the water running across the UK and Ireland.

AMT-Sybex excels at building world-class solutions for its customers, but the strive for continuous improvement in their own internal support operation was held back by a tool that no longer served them well.

A platform that didn’t fit

Like many software companies, AMT-Sybex relies heavily on structured IT service management to support both their customers and their internal operations. They run ITIL-aligned processes – incident management, service requests, change management – the full spectrum of what a mature, process-driven organisation needs.

The challenge? Their existing service management tool was rigid and expensive. Adapting it to match evolving business needs required specialist knowledge or external consultancy, making even simple configuration changes costly and time-consuming. For a company whose entire value proposition is about enabling customers to work smarter, it was a frustrating mismatch.

AMT-Sybex needed a platform that would give their teams the freedom to configure, adapt, and evolve their processes independently – without being locked into a cycle of expensive customisation projects.

Finding the answer within the family

Both AMT-Sybex and Easit are part of the Constellation Software family, operating under the Jonas Software and Vesta Software Group umbrella. AMT-Sybex was acquired by Jonas in late 2021, joining an ecosystem of over 100 independently managed software companies worldwide.

But family ties alone don’t close a deal. AMT-Sybex evaluated their options and chose Easit GO on its merits. What tipped the scale was a combination of factors that directly addressed their pain points:

Configurability without complexity. Easit GO is built around the idea that the people who know their processes best – the ones working with them every day – should be able to shape and refine the system themselves. The visual Design Studio lets teams build and adjust workflows, forms, and views without writing code or relying on external consultants.

A powerful rule engine. AMT-Sybex’s ITIL processes require automation, escalation paths, and smart routing based on context and priority. Easit GO’s rule engine makes it possible to automate these workflows in a structured, transparent way – giving the team full control over how work is prioritised, assigned, and tracked.

Cost efficiency. Moving away from a costly, rigid platform to Easit GO means that AMT-Sybex not only saves on licensing but, more importantly, eliminates the ongoing cost of external consultancy for changes that should be straightforward.

A structured database at the core. For an organisation that thrives on data integrity – managing millions of records daily for critical infrastructure – having a properly structured, relational database underpinning their service management was a natural fit.

Going live

AMT-Sybex went live with Easit GO on 27 April 2026, running their customer-facing support operations on the platform. The deployment covers their full suite of ITIL processes, giving their support teams a modern, flexible foundation for managing incidents, service requests, and changes.

The go-live marks a milestone not just for AMT-Sybex, but for Easit as well – it is the first time Easit GO is deployed with a UK and Ireland based organisation. While Easit has served customers across the Nordics and Europe, the AMT-Sybex partnership represents a meaningful step into this new market.

“We were looking for more than just a service platform—we needed a foundation for continuous improvement. Through a genuinely collaborative partnership with Easit, we now have that in place. Easit GO also enables us to leverage AI in a practical way to enhance decision-making, automate processes, and deliver better outcomes for our customers..”

Stephen Murray, Head of Support, AMT-Sybex

“We are humbly proud that AMT-Sybex has given us this trust. It confirms that our vision for Easit GO carries across borders. And beyond the business side, we’ve had great fun working together and learned a tremendous amount from the AMT-Sybex team – that’s something no contract can capture.”

What this means for Easit

Just one month after the release of the AMT-Sybex service management system, the feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with noted improvement to the user interface, seamless login process, and overall intuitive design. The successful AMT-Sybex deployment demonstrates several things that matter for the future of Easit GO.

First, it validates the platform’s ability to serve organisations outside the Nordics. Language, compliance frameworks, and service management maturity vary across markets, and Easit GO’s flexibility makes it possible to adapt to different contexts without fundamental changes to the product.

Second, it underscores a growing trend: software companies themselves – organisations that build and deliver technology – are choosing Easit GO to run their own service operations. They understand what separates a good platform from a mediocre one, and they value the combination of process control, configurability, and simplicity that Easit GO offers.

Third, it shows the value of operating within a strong ecosystem. The Constellation Software family creates opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing between companies. When the right fit exists, it’s a powerful advantage – but the decision is always based on merit, not obligation.

Looking ahead

With AMT-Sybex on board, Easit now has a live reference case in the UK & Ireland – one of Europe’s most competitive and mature IT service management markets. For organisations in the UK & Ireland that are looking for a modern, configurable, and cost-effective alternative to their current service management tools, AMT-Sybex’s journey offers a compelling proof point.

The message is clear: you shouldn’t need a team of consultants to make your service management platform work for you. You should be able to do it yourself. That’s exactly what Easit GO is built for…

AMT-Sybex is part of Jonas Computing (UK) Limited and specialises in enterprise asset management and mobile solutions for the UK’s infrastructure, energy, and water sectors. Easit AB, based in Sweden, is the company behind Easit GO – a platform for process digitalisation and service management. Both companies operate within the Constellation Software family.
